UPSC Recruitment 2018: Download CSE Prelims Hall Ticket

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the central commissioning authority for All India Services recruitment & examination conducting authority for various posts in group A & B category of central services. It involves various departments and nodal agencies in the country. The commission has been authorized by Part XIV, the constitution of Indian of all its series of commissioning authority for All India Services recruitment. The UPSC recruitment is made through a common gateway selection process which merely includes written Test (Preliminary/ MAINS ), Personal Interview and some other tests which widely varies with respect to Positions applied in UPSC Recruitment 2018

UPSC Eligibility & Examination Pattern:

Education Qualification:

The minimum education qualification required to be eligible for Engineering Services in various departments is:

2 Have passed Section A & B of the Institution Examination of the Institutes of Engineers
3 Have a degree in Engineering from foreign universities/Institutes/College which is recognized by GOI.

Age Criteria:

The interested candidate appearing/attempting to apply for various posts & Departments must have attended a minimum of 21 years and maximum of 32 years. The age relaxation will be as per the govt. of India norms-

  • 5 Years of age relaxation for Scheduled Caste & Scheduled  Tribes
  • 3 Years of age relaxation for Other Backward Caste (OBC candidate must fall into NCL category)
  • 5 Years of age relaxation to candidates having domicile of J&K during 01 Jan 1980 to 31 Dec 1989.
  • 3 Years of relaxation for candidates for Defence Services Personnel,
  • 3 Years of relaxation for Ex-Servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSOs.

  • The application fee is needed to pay in cash if you wish to opt for payment through challan at any of the State Bank of India branch (SBI) within the prescribes deadline period of time.

2. Combined Defense Services (CDS)

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam is conducted TWICE every year by UPSC to recruit the qualified and Eligible candidates in the different cadre of the Army, Navy, and Airforce. Major Departments are:

The Candidates who want to get selected in various academies (IMA, INA, IAF & Officers Training Academy) under CDS,   will have to undergo Written Exam, Personality Test & Interview.The qualified candidates after qualifying the above multiple rounds will be placed in the order of Merit List on the basis of Medical Test & marks secured in Written Exam, Personality Test & Interview.

How to APPLY: CSE 2018

Visit the link www.upsconline.nic.in  and follow the steps

  • Click on Online APPLICATION for various Examination of UPSC option.
  • A new window will appear provided with Part-1 & Part-2 of Registration.
  • The candidates must read the official notification in detail.
  • The candidates can read the same official notification from Employment News Paper of this month.

  • Click on Part-1 Section for Registration (Shown below) and fill the Detailed information.
  • Click on Submit button after filling the complete information in Part-1 of the online Application form.

  • Candidates need to proceed for payment gateway after part -1 registration is done.
  • The Candidates falling in the Application FEE exemption category need not pay the amount.
  • After the payment is done candidate need to select the exam center for Preliminary Exam.
  • Soon after the above step, one needs to upload the scanned photograph & signature in JPEG/JPG.
  • Finally, click on Final Submission.
