Eligibility Criteria for SSC GD Constable-

The minimum education qualification for the candidates to be eligible for the post of Constable in the department of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) are:

  • Candidates must be the citizen of India/Indian Nationality.
  • The person migrated from the neighbour countries like : Pakistan, Srilanka, Myanmar etc is now a person of Indian origin.
  • 10+2 qualified from any of the govt. recognized institutions in India.

  • OBC(NCL) : 26 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen (General): 26 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen (OBC)     : 28 Years
  • SC/ST Categories             : 31 Years

Written Paper description of SSC GD Constable:

  • General Intelligence/Reasoning Test

         The General Intelligence/Reasoning Test is often carried out to test the thinking, analytic skill of the candidates. The test often consists of question which contains figures/various diagrams/words etc in a certain pattern or coded form to judge the critical thinking skill of the candidates. The candidates must be aware of these types of question much before to score in the written exam. The best way is to solve the past year papers and similar question for more mock practices.

  •   General Knowledge/Awareness-

The General Knowledge/Awareness sections are broadly classified into two classes:

  • Static General Knowledge: This section deals with the static portion of the General Knowledge with often don’t change with the time and are almost constant, like: Thermal/Hydro/Nuclear plants in India, Bird sanctuaries, famous monuments etc
  • Current affair Awareness: This section deals with the current and most latest updates in the real-time world. In fact, this section of General Knowledge is more important than the previous one. This section should be practice on daily basis and for the same more numbers of questions must be attempted.
  • Elementary Mathematics: This section deals with basic knowledge and operations.
  • English/Hindi: 

This very section deals with the elementary knowledge of the language, minimum cutoff marks must be secured in order to qualify for the further selection process. The overall time span of the entire written test is 120 minutes duration.

How to APPLY-

  • The candidate’s pic & signature must be scanned in advance as per the instructions.
  • Click on Apply online and proceed with the information fill up.
  • All the details must be correct to your knowledge as later will not be modified after final submission.
  • Upload the scanned photo and signature in JPEG format & as per the instruction in the notification.
  • After all visit for the Payment Gateway.
  • Click on the final submission.
  • Take a print out of the application, for your future reference.
