As per the official announcement of the Central Government, India who decided to hire more than 2 lakhs candidates this year 2018. These will be classified as 70,000 vacancies in Excise, Income Tax, and Customs –Revenue Department. Last year more than 10 lakhs candidates had applied for the SSC CGL exam. More than initially, there were all about 5200 vacancies in the year 2016 but now it has been increased up to 9000 vacancies. In the current notification released by SSC CGL 2018, the total number of positions is estimated to be around  30,000 which will be bifurcated later into multidisciplinary streams in Revenue Dept. Educational Qualification 2018

The minimum education qualification required is a Graduation from any of the govt. recognized university/institutes recognized by AICTE/UGC approved.

Other Desirable Educational Qualifications:

Preferred qualification is Chartered Accountant (CA) & Management, or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)/ Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Economics.
